TCS Fresher Process Interview Questions

From what I prepared, TCS for freshers is usually an NQT-style test first — aptitude, verbal, and some programming MCQs — then a technical interview, then HR. Technical is language basics, OOP, SQL, maybe one easy coding question, and a deep walkthrough of the final-year project. They are not asking hard LeetCode. I would explain my project as problem, my module, tech stack, and one bug I fixed. HR asks tell me about yourself, location, night shifts, and bond. I would be honest on location and notice, and have a 90-second intro ready. I would also revise Java or Python basics and a couple of SQL joins the night before.

Technical on basics, DS, and the project, then HR. Some units add managerial. I prepare the project deeply. I also prepare relocation, shifts, bond if any. I check this year's mailer, not a 2018 blog.

I am strong on what I have — Python, DSA, SQL — and I can learn Java if the unit needs it. I would not fake Spring. TCS trains. They still want fundamentals and the project.

I ask for the actual terms. I would not refuse rudely in round one, and I would not say yes to a document I have not seen. I am serious about joining and I will review it. No industry rant.

What I built, my module, database, a bug, what I would do differently. They may ask a SQL join or OOP related to it. I would not say we for work I did not do. Three-minute talk plus ten-minute deep dive.
